Brendan Bennett

Brendan Bennett is a producer and writer originally from Bainbridge Island, Washington. He recently wrapped two independent features he produced: Dog Years, starring Leah Lewis (The Half of It, Matlock) and Xolo Maridueña (Blue Beetle, Cobra Kai), in collaboration with Full Spectrum Features and Buffalo 8, and Nadhi, shot on location in Hyderabad, India, starring Nandita Das (Firaaq, Fire) and Nassar (Baahubali, Fair Game). Both films are currently in post-production.

His previous work includes the short film Kodama, which premiered at SXSW in 2023, where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Award. As well as other projects which have screened at major festivals across the U.S. and Europe, garnered over 12 million views online, and earned recognition from the Directors Guild of America, the American Society of Cinematographers, and the Telly Awards.

Brendan has also produced a range of short films, keynote presentations, and tech demos with industry partners including Amazon Studios, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Microsoft, and Technicolor. He is a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2020 and is working as a producer and writer: building worlds and telling poignant, dramatic stories with a dash of dark humor.
