Brendan Bennett

Brendan Bennett is a writer and producer raised on Bainbridge Island, Washington and was a 2020 graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

Brendan's most recent work as a producer on the short film “KODAMA” premiered at SXSW in 2023. His other films have screened at prestigious festivals in the US, Europe, and has been viewed by over 11 million people online. These films have gone on to win DGA, ASC, and Telly awards.

As a producer, Brendan has always been passionate about script development, which ultimately lead to him to discover a passion for sitting at the typewriter himself. He is excited to continue building worlds and telling poignant, dramatic stories with a dash of dark humor.

Recently, Brendan found his way into LED Virtual Production technology as a way of telling stories. Using Unreal Engine and LED volumes such as those used on The Mandalorian, he has produced a number of virtual short films, keynotes, and test shoots with partners including Amazon Studios, Universal Pictures, Warner Brothers, Microsoft, and Technicolor. Brendan has been hired as a consultant for a number of projects looking to get into the virtual production space.

Brendan is currently producing an independent feature film that will begin production in Hyderabad, India later this year. He is also producing a feature-length documentary actively in pre-production in Colorado Springs. He just finished writing an hour-long pilot and is now working on both a feature and his first play.
